  • Certificates issued within 3 years accepted; older rechecked
  • Children/Adults barring list check where applicable

  • Fit-to-work declaration required
  • Immunity records: Hep B, MMR, Varicella, TB
  • COVID-19 vaccination status noted
  • Occupational health clearance certificate accepted

References

  • Minimum two professional references required
  • Must cover last three years of employment
  • Gaps in employment history explored and documented
  • Written references held on file

  • Professional indemnity insurance confirmed in date
  • Employer liability insurance held by Urgent Locums

  • Policy schedule reviewed annually

Core training requirements

All clinicians must evidence up-to-date completion of mandatory training before placement.
