These Terms and Conditions govern the relationship between Urgent Locums Ltd ("we", "us", "the Agency") and individuals or organisations ("you") who use our services. By registering with us or submitting an enquiry, you agree to these terms.
Urgent Locums is a trading name of Innovations and More Ltd (Company No: 11350220), registered in England and Wales. Innovations and More Ltd is an employment business (as defined under the Employment Agencies Act 1973) that introduces locum clinicians to healthcare organisations. We operate in accordance with the Conduct of Employment Agencies and Employment Businesses Regulations 2003.
By registering, you confirm that all information provided is accurate and up to date. You must notify us immediately of any changes to your professional registration, DBS status, right to work, or fitness to practise.
You must maintain all required compliance documentation throughout your engagement with us. This includes professional registration, enhanced DBS, occupational health clearance and mandatory training. We reserve the right to suspend placements if compliance lapses.
During placements, you are expected to adhere to the policies and procedures of the client organisation, relevant professional standards (HCPC, NMC etc.) and all applicable laws. We reserve the right to remove you from a placement and terminate our engagement if your conduct is found unsatisfactory.
Payment terms will be set out in your individual assignment confirmation. You are responsible for your own tax obligations unless you operate via an umbrella company or PAYE arrangement as agreed. Urgent Locums is not your employer unless expressly stated.
You must maintain confidentiality regarding all patient and client information in accordance with your professional obligations and applicable law. This obligation continues beyond the end of any placement.
By submitting a staffing request, you confirm that you are authorised to engage agency workers and that the role and setting comply with all applicable employment and health & safety law.
You are responsible for providing an appropriate induction, local mandatory training, and adequate supervision for all locum clinicians during their placement at your organisation.
Our fees will be confirmed in writing before any placement commences. Invoices are payable within the agreed terms. Late payment may incur interest as permitted by the Late Payment of Commercial Debts Act 1998.
If you directly engage or employ a clinician introduced to you by Urgent Locums within 12 months of introduction, a permanent placement fee may apply as set out in our fee schedule.
Cancellation charges may apply for bookings cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice, as agreed in individual placement confirmations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Urgent Locums shall not be liable for:
Our total liability in any circumstances shall not exceed the total fees paid by you to us in the six months preceding the claim.

We process personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and UK GDPR. By using our services, you acknowledge our data practices as set out therein.
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
